Opus 12: Recycling CO2 Emissions Into Liquid Fuels

A method for recycling carbon dioxide into usable compounds and fuels

The Problem

As a result of manmade industry and human activity, unsustainable amounts of carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere every year, risking serious changes to the global climate. Opus 12 is working to capture the carbon emissions that are out there and recycle them into usable fuels. Rather than producing more emissions, Opus 12 is working to ensure that we can recycle what we've already emitted.

The Solution

Opus 12’s technology transforms carbon dioxide into usable compounds and fuels. It helps producers of carbon dioxide to convert it into chemicals, plastics and carbon-neutral fuels, thereby limiting waste and oil-based product development while creating possible cost savings or revenue streams for current polluters. If successful the Opus 12 technology could contribute significantly to reductions in climate change.
