Training African village women as beach cleaners & trash artisans.
The Problem
Ocean plastic pollution and poverty are two of the worlds most pressing problems. The Ocean Mamas project addresses both.
The Solution
By training local village women to clean up our beaches and produce trash art home decor and jewellery using traditional craft skills we can provide the with an income and reduce the plastic footprint on our beaches simultaneously, turning the trash to treasure.
