Voto Latino

Voto Latino is a pioneering civic media organization that seeks to transform America by recognizing Latinos’ innate leadership. Through innovative digital campaigns, pop culture, and grassroots voices, we provide culturally relevant programs that engage, educate and empower Latinos to be agents of change. Together, we aim to build a stronger and more inclusive democracy.

The Problem

Latinos are the future America. They do and will continue to shape our national politics, but to do that, they must be registered to vote and they must be actively involved in the political process. There are millions of eligible Latinos who could be engaged but either fail to vote or are not yet registered.

The Solution

Voto Latino focuses on the key issues that impact the Latino community in America. They are focused on voter registration, immigration, social justice, health, and professional development for Latinos.

Voto Latino was nominated by Shared Nation member, Becky Margiotta, who writes: "This group is working tirelessly to register Latino voters and also to connect the 500+ families who have been separated from their children by the Trump administration."
