The Problem
The United States, Oman, and Papa New Guinnea are the only three countries in the world without Paid Family Leave. Without paid family leave, families (often women) are forced to choose between the health of their families and their jobs.
The Solution
Raise Up Massachusetts is campaigning to have Massachusetts join the ranks of California, Rhode Island, Washington, New Jersey, and New York as the only states in the U.S. to mandate paid medical leave for its citizens. Raise Up Massachusetts is leading an initiative to get Paid Family Leave on the ballot for the 2018 midterm elections.
